Flaarg Posted February 21, 2011 Share Posted February 21, 2011 Had an idea, Old fashion highway robberyEver been walking down the haighway and spot the trade caravans and think, what happened to slipping on a bandana, and yelling stick'em up! How about a MOD that add's the option to prefrom highway robbery to roving traders dialogue selection, allowing you to get close enough to rob the trader, and taking around 500 caps or so, but loosing karma (depending on your faction affiliation), and a version that allows you to don different fiction armors to disguise yourself (and thus not suffering faction karma). webster63 Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 (edited) well im no modder so i have no clue how it works but my thoughts on that question would be, why shouldnt it be for all? while i agree you are most likely to rob a lone caravan merchant out in the wasteland, you can just as easy decide to rob that store merchant because he has what you need but you dont have the caps for it one thing i think works best with all mods is having the most choice to decide what you want to do rather then be limited to certain situations Edited February 24, 2011 by webster63 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

webster63 Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 (edited) well that is what i was getting at, i dont know if there is two seperate controls for it and wouldnt it be restrictive to have to make your choice in advance then maybe change your mind during the game and need to adjust mods i think its probably a lot easier to do it for all traders in the game and then you choose to rob or not rob anybody anywhere at any point again im no modder of this game but from the games i have modded things like this are usually set up as a generic control for all trading and most likely not treated seperately depending on caravan or shop (but i could be wrong) i never could understand why they seam to allow all kinds of stealing but the most obvious unless it was seen as too tempting of a cheat Edited February 24, 2011 by webster63 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
