MrPerfectV101
Hello all, Just wondering if someone could make some adjustments to the lighting in the Reflecton that is used to create the appearance of the character? The default view on the Reflectron, and that of the DNA Projector in FO3 for that matter, is poorly lit and somehow out of focus. Just yesterday I made a new character and even after taking a good half hour trying to compensate for the distorted view, I was socked to see how different everything looked once the game loaded up. The poor kid had stark white eye sockets and bright red cheeks! Combined with a strange downward eye slant I hadn't seen in the Reflectron, the character ended up looking like a sad clown. :pinch: Currently I have a save game just before walking out of Goodsprings, so that I can re-configure the face until it looks right. Is there any way to make the Reflectron view lit like you're standing around out in the Mojave? Hopefully there's a way to change that without to much headache.
evilneko
You could use the GECK or Facegen to create your face and then Facegen exchanger to graft it onto your character.
MrPerfectV101
Well, the thing is that I don't know how to use the Geck and this is the first I've heard of Facegen. I'm not actually a modder, just hoping that someone who is could help out.
evilneko
It's pretty easy to use the GECK to make a face. Just create an NPC. And since your save is just before leaving Goodsprings, you can just tick the box in GECK to make it a Facegen Preset (or heck, just edit an existing one), save your mod, activate it before you play again and presto--your face will be one of the presets. No need to even mess with Facegen Exchanger. The GECK also has much more advanced controls for making the face, so you'll probably end up with a better one that way.
