Don't want to start a new game, is it possible to adjust my attributes somehow? HELP

My character has Charisma 1. I just learned however that in order to have a companion in FWE you need to have at least Charisma 2. This rule can be changed in FWE's settings but I'm happy with the default settings and don't want to change them. So instead I have to change my character. I'm not gonna start a new game just to change this (I've already started new games so many times already since you are never informed about important decisions like this before you create your character). So therefore I have to change my Charisma in the console or something like that - if it is possible. I want to increase my Charisma from 1 to 2 and lower my Agilty from 7 to 6. Can someone tell me how to do this? And most importantly is it completely safe to do this or will it mess up the stats of my character? Since attributes affect skill values for example, will my skills be automatically updated with new values and so on?

Doesn't matter anymore. This rule was part of an optional module in FWE called Follwers Enchanced and since the same module also made companions Essential I uninstalled it. This thread can be deleted.
