An Odd Philosophical Question

I was wanting to ask a brief philosophical question regarding boss fight music. This is for a mod, and I find myself torn and seeking community opinion.

Now, let's just say that I have created a boss battle, with an opponent who was fought in another fallout game, but that fallout game has a rather bad reputation due to its music. Do you think that it would be better to pay proper homage to that game by reusing that same boss fight music, or go with something different? I would prefer not to post links to the respective music because... I want this mod to hit Nexus like... 'An atomic blast,' ok, I apologize, I couldn't help but give a hint.

In all seriousness, I want other people's opinion on this because... this boss is going to be a real b&@*$ to kill.

Make people fess up it was in there. I hate the burned out earth theme in Fallout, I won't play without green mods in non-desert settings, but I acknowledge it was put at least into Fallout 2. Or, if it's something you're committed to, redeem the music with something truly excellent. You wouldn't be asking whether or not to keep the music if you didn't see value in and of itself.

After a lot of thought I've decided to use "Mark of the Dragon" instead of the original boss music. I already have the "we don't care" stamp of ambivalence from Bethesda, who own the title, so I could use the original music in a very limited capacity. I believe their official stance on the project was along the lines of, "it's not canon so we don't care, ask the community in the forums," regarding the actual city when I asked for lore clarification.

But that's besides the point. "Mark of the Dragon" is royalty free and comes closer to what I want in the final boss. At the moment its the front runner...
