Just after a few armour mods, the only thingis I'm not entirely too sure where to start with Googling for them so I thought I'd ask in here first.

If it's an actual port from Poser as opposed to something created to look like something from Poser then it would be illegal for them to distribute it. Poser and many of its addons are commercial software.

 

I agree, apparently people "sell" the models online, so I guess things like that are offlimits.

 

But for the one that I'm looking for (along with several other ones), there was no entry in google at all, so I guess its something that the authors made themselves, hopefully a future release :)

It wouldn't be a big deal if they just simply ask permission from the original creators of the Poser work and textures - It's been over a year since its apparent release anyways. Besides, I don't think user-created content with Poser means that it has to be Poser-only; if that was the case, there would probably be a bit of a big outcry by those who use the program but want to export their work to other programs and some games, and by those who use or buy the files for something other than Poser.

First is Westwind Rogue Armor, iirc... It's here on the site.

 

Second, I believe, is a combination of the Blades cuirass in Colourwheels Sexy Armor and Clothing Replacer, with what looks like part of a retexture using the chainmail texture from the Black Luster mod.

 

Third is extremely exclusive, but it's known as "Dread Lancer" - It's probably one the most requested private mods I've seen here on the site, and sadly it's likely to stay that way for years.

I've seen various asian modders using Ren's Strangers mod. I'm not looking for this mod, I have it. However, I am looking for hi-res skin and face textures for this mod. It doesn't seem to be compatible with Robert's male body, and I'm rather tired of the rainbow pixels, on an otherwise lovely face.

I talked about that here. Like I said, it's like spearfishing - the only difference between pictorial and text view is like the clarity of the water.

 

Plus, sometimes they use 4shared for the files and SHY for images.

It appears to be an image of blog site page that was taken.... It looks like either FC2 or Naver, I can't tell; I'll do some site sweeps and maybe something happened that made someone change their mind, or something....

ahh man. that site will go down because of bandwidth overuse :unsure:

if you wait a while those mods might be released there. if not you're probably out of luck. that's about the best place to find japanese mods
