Oblivion Mod Detectives

I wonder how some of those screenshots even remotely pull off that distinct facial look? Does the author modify it off of Xeo 5, Modular Beautiful People 2ch, or is that purely custom made by the author himself?

Also, I'm curious if anyone knows if there's a mod that lets me add a mole to my character's face?:

And ive seen these kinds of ears on some pics, are they from a race? And what race is it?

Shameless self bump :P

Also: when I download hair from that Chinese website (http://stephenkang.blog132.fc2blog.net/archives.html) I just have to extract it into my data folder and I can use "showracemenu" to change the hair? Or do I have to do it through the construction set?

Construction set I guess :P, but I almost have no experience with it. Can I found a short tutorial somewhere how to add hairs to my char?

i'm guessing here, might aswell get my 2 cents in there, so you can try before you get a linked one :P

open the CS go to character, hair , make a new one , link mesh and texture

now go to race, pick the race you want , click the body data tab and now drag your new hair in the the hair style list. done! =p

You don't really need a mod for that :) Open the face texture of your race in a program like Photoshop, add the mole and save. Since I guess you use a custom race, it should not effect any NPCs. Important: you will need a .dds file extension for Photoshop, so that it can read the DDS files. Google should help you there :)

If you have more characters using the custom race, make a copy of the face texture file before adding the mole (don't forget the second, blue "_n" file that belongs to every dds file), make a copy of the race you are using in the construction set and only add your altered face texture to that copy. Now your player character has a unique race, mole included.

Ok, this might sound a bit weird so please don't hit me. Does anybody know where I can find a good tutorial on how to add a player character only custom idle animation? Because I have the animation file and read my way through the Oblivion Wiki, but there they only cover how to add an idle animation to an actor using a token item. I feel stupid for asking this, but I can't seem to find a tutorial on that :(

Oh, yea that's a good idea. I'll try that.

Also, does anyone have access or know where I can download Motoko's (Ghost in the Shell) uniform and or face, as shown here?:

I'm trying to patch together some armors to make a darker, more sexy variation of the Huntress armor.

No offence, but that's what I was trying to steer away from with the Demon Huntress outfit...

Clearly I failed.

Also, it's better to do it in Blender. Import everything, delete stuff you don't want as well as the numerous pieces of skeleton that will show up, select everything, import a skeleton and parent everything to it, and export. Then you've the fun job of getting all the textures together!

If you want a more detailed explanation, let me know and I'll get onto it after I finish work.

I think I need to learn some basic Blender first, which I'm doing slowly. I wouldn't turn down tips or more detailed explanations though. :) As with my version...it's a bit more then just a darker version. First of all, I want to call it Dragon Huntress and not have anything to do with demons really. The game overflows with demon themes, so I'm going with a dragon theme. I already have some custom dragon body tattoos in place for the DK Imperial race, and probably another version for the Xenius races (although this will involve some adjustments since DK Imperials use high-res skins and Xenius doesn't). It's sort of like Vampire Hunter D, but with dragons instead of vampires and demons. Your demon huntress is almost classical and romantic in it's style - which I think is a great contrast to it's namesake. It's sexy, but not overly sexy.

As with most designs, I tend to go crazy and try to do everything in the beginning, but then cut it back and simplify. Still, I got to learn blender first.

Some work I did for Dragon Age:

Thank you~

I'd happily download more dragon-themed work. I'm a sucker for dragons (no, really. My best Yu-Gi-Oh! deck is made of nothing BUT dragons and a few magic and trap cards).

Believe it or not, when I started modding I had very little knowledge. I knew how to make simple shapes an manipulate them. I found it easier to start off my making weapons and jewellery. This explains why there are no outfits of mine that have been 100% made by me. I'm rather uncomfortable with modelling clothes.

For mashup outfits like mine, I used bits and pieces from a tutorial by mbass, which is not available at the moment as the forum it's hosted on is experiencing technical difficulties. I've saved the tutorial though, and I'll ask mbass if he's okay with me emailing it to you.
