cryocry
Why not just enchant a piece of clothing or armor with a Restore Health enchantment?
Abramul
Why not just enchant a piece of clothing or armor with a Restore Health enchantment? My understanding was that he wanted something that gradually restores health. My interpretation of 'gradually' is 'significantly less than one point per second'.
Guest Tessera
My understanding was that he wanted something that gradually restores health. My interpretation of 'gradually' is 'significantly less than one point per second'. Somewhere in the code, there must be a numerical value assigned to the default health regeneration rate. It should be possible to simply increase that integer... although I have no idea where it would be found. It may be hard-coded into the engine, for all I know. I do know that our health regenerates, even if you never rest or wait. There's been plenty of times after a battle that I found a safe spot and then abandoned my game to go eat dinner, or whatever. By the time I got back, my character was at full health, but she hadn't moved or rested at all. She'd just been standing in one spot for about an hour or two of real time. Povuholo
I took a look at the game settings. I couldn't find anything that looked like it, except for 'AICombatRestoreHealthPercentage'. But I don't think that's it. I also found sPotionFailed, which has the text 'Your potion failed and your ingredients were lost'. Interesting, no? Abramul
There is also a fEssentialHealthPercentReGain setting, which I believe to control how fast essential characters regenerate health. I think the one Povo found might control what percent of max health an NPC will start casting healing spells at. Just a guess, though.

Cheesy74
A Restore Health ability works perfectly, I think.
elpiggo
There's a health regen mod out there somewhere. I think it's called 'Dynamic Health Regen' or something. It restores health when there are no enemies nearby, and your weapon is sheathed. However, this get frustrating when you are hiding from enemies and have low health, and no potions.
