Are there any moments in Oblivion that have had you laughing at the randomness of it's bugs/glitches, and such?

 

Here are mine.

 

1. Remember when i posted that thread regarding finding the 'unfindable' Painted Troll - finally! - in the Tiber Septim Inn?

 

Haha.. That was nothing compared to what happend to me yesterday.

 

So, i am walking into the inn, to get buy some ingredients for a potion. as SOON as i walk in the door, i see an armored 'man' pull out his mace. I thought it was an imperial watch captian, and that he was after U_ A_, the secret "Dawn Agent". But, funny enough, 'he' was after me.. Then i saw the name: "Vyka"

 

And who is she. If you have OOO installed, She is a leader of the Skyrim bandits. Why the heck was she down here??

 

But of course, i didn;'t know this. I was after _ _, because his battle armour turned out to be.... his Mythic Dawn attire!!! So, i killed him, and got the witnessed murder DB message..

 

After wising up, i went after Vyka, after reloading, and she quickily turned the lobby into a blood-bath.. Who was killed?

the Alteration trainer.

and the Redguard and Nord who were a major part of the Corrupt Watchman quest.

2. It's always amazing how they mess up the genders of the characters..

 

We all know that Falanu Hlaalu is a raging Necro (philiac, nor mancer) and when i talked to the Horse guy, he said:

 

"There's something creepy about Falanu Hlaalu. Last night, HE was in the graveyard with a strange smile on his face" or something to that effect.

 

haha.. and *Note to Self*: Never enter a crappy inn on the Anvil Watergate with your weapon drawn.. :P Cause the 'Siren's will attack, and if the guards kill 'em, YOU'LL be the murderer.. (!!!)

I walked into the Tiber Septim hotel and ended up fighting for my life after encountering a Frost Titan in the lobby. (OOO)

 

I made him a permanent guest.

I was down in the Market Sewers, and I saw someone standing on one of the waterside steps. I tried sneaking up on him, and found that it was actually that mage with a white robe (forget his name, I think he's the retired one). Now, I'm not sure if this was a bug, as he frequents The Main Ingredient, which has a sewer entrance in the basement, but the only [named] people I've seen traveling the sewers were Thieve's guild members, and then only in the Talos sewers.

I think I have an explanation for all those random things appearing in the tiber septim hotel.

 

One time I was in a mine I made myself, and saved. Next day I disabled that mod before playing. When I loaded the savegame I was in the tiber septim hotel.

 

So... For some reason when a cell is gone npc's that weren't removed (weren't placed there by the mod you disable) move to the tiber septim hotel?

 

Maybe the painted world gets 'disabled' after the quest? But when you don't kill all painted trolls and go to the tiber septim hotel they aren't all alive. So maybe only those who were active? Like attacking you.
