This version might work better for you if that is the issue:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5276 Read the compatability info in the description and compare it to whatever the compatability info may be in Oblivion Cats. When you are testing, test in a new game. Hopefully Hickory or one of the other really expert people will be able to help you more than I can. Oblivion only allows for 255 esm and esp files in the Data folder, enabled or not, before it goes into free fall mode. The first thing you should try is to use the Auto Ghost feature of Wrye Bash. Right click on the File tab and select Auto Ghost. If you still have 255 or more after ghosting, then you need to look into either merging compatible plugins or removing unnecessary mods.
