"Sorry to inform everyone, Fallout New Vegas was patched and it broke this, I am going to try a fix this tomorrow, but since I haven't even had the chance to play this since Sunday, I don't know what is exactly happening, if anyone know what happened please pm me so I can try to fix this, thanks."

Update - on chat "Lansat" has confirmed this problem with AI and the new DM patch

something to do with a texture {confirmed texture} folder named Character

is causing that particular crash (may be same cause as your game)

Still experimenting to find exact file/sub-folder

i got it to work again using the .bsa file from this ArchiveInvalidation (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37004)

then making my making my [Archive] look like this

SInvalidationFile=

iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1

iRetainFilenameStringTable=1

iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1

bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0

bInvalidateOlderFiles=1

bUseArchives=1

SArchiveList=Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa, ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa

maybe i have too many textures, i can't believe that at least 5 different folders are causing problems. I give up finding the individual problems. i am going to run under the assumption that somehow the like with load order esm/esp's somehow a cap has been imposed on the files inside the texture folder as well...too many files and somehow the game will mess up. Unfortunately it seems like the cap is very low, my game will not run unless major textures like all weapon textures are removed. Edited by Lansat
