coin409
Maybe using the Auto Sorter, methinks.
natranr
I use BOSS to sort the load. always have, always will. I'll resort it just in case it got messed up and try again.
coin409
Maybe you can attempt to make a merged patch in F03Edit. Other than that, just having 25 mods seems like it wouldn't do something like that, methinks. Edited February 25, 2011 by coin409
natranr
Not sure how a Merged patch will help. I'm going to disable all my mods and try to exit. might just have to do this every time I want to leave Rivet City.
coin409
Maybe you should go in GECK and make every place Fast-Travelable in Rivet City, methinks.
Javalin
Here is a few things you can try. I did this awhile ago, it's a document in one of the files on the nexus, i just can't remember what it's called, but i still have it. If i remember correctly, it was posted up by "KingDeath" I'll copy the document to this topic. All credits to KingDeath, it worked quite nicely for me - it did remove quite a lot of the crash issues, but they did still occur. Theres a lot of text, so I'll narrow it down a little bit. Game Booster - This didn't fix the problem, but you can try it anyway. Supposedly defrags the game. This thing did next to nothing for me, but it's always worth a shot. http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html RAM Boost: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12031 Boosts the game performance, you don't need to go very far either :) right here on the nexus. If i remember correctly, this has a minor tweak to change in the .INI file for Fallout 3: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/articles/article.php?id=239 This is the point where I had stopped, I didn't use RAM booster, and the .ini tweak seemed to have done the trick. I didn't really look any further. But it seems to be fine. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 You may need to restart your game or load from a point where you have just left the vault, but not left to the outside world. The Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch is a MUST! and can be found here on the nexus. Once again, all credits to KingDeath. natranr
Well I disabled some mods and got out. and I already did those optimizations. and I will try a Merged patch, and I made Rivet City Fast Travelable. so, I'm good.
bethjunkie
It's caused by the Unofficial Broken Steel patch. Either remove it or use the fixed version of the patch from here.
