TennesseeTuxedo
I have this problem where on some specific objects (same ones each time), depending on the angle I view them, their texture changes. So far it effects Niners clothes (from the Niner mod), Cheyenne's skin (using the Sunny mod to make her a companion), Guts skin (dog from NV Bounties mod) and the truck and internal bench seats from Mobile Base Truck (MTB mod). This is a close up issue so I don't think related to draw distance texture flicker issues. I can perfectly recreate it, the same view angle on the object produces the same texture (e.g. I can cycle Cheyenne through her normal dog coat/skin, then to some vault steel looking textures, to a "quilted one", to one that is partly invisible.... just by changing the angle I view her). Not looking for someone to solve for me, but what are some of the possible causes I can check to trouble shoot this? I've already done the archive invalidation thing, in game resets, merged patch, etc... I've got about 100 mods, none that have been added recently except I've been modding the Embiggened version of the Portable Tent (first experience in GECK). It definitely started to occur at some point I was doing that (of course could be a timebomb waiting from the 100 mods). My modding has been limited to moving furniture and statics around, getting rid of some non scripted objects and adding vanilla objects. Going to do some tests and get rid of the tent to see if that fixes but it would be good to know what types of underlying issues can cause wrong textures to load based on view angle so if it is the tent I can mod it correctly to not have this issue. DaemonGrin
Did you try Archiveinvalidate?
TennesseeTuxedo
yes, I do that routinely with any changes.
