Recommended Posts

Ok i recently got New Vegas and every time i try to lauch it starts up i see a black screen for a few seconds then windows tells me that 'Fallout NV has stopped working'.

I've reinstalled it twice i tried installaing in different directories but i still can't get it to work.

I know my computer is good enough except im not sure about my graphics card because all i can find out about it is that its Intel HD Graphics and i don't know if thats good enough

So if anyone has any idea how to fix this it would be appreciated

Heres some additional information about my computer.

Windows 7

Intel Core i5 2.27 GHz Processor

4GB RAM

Intel HD Grpahics

Thanks in advance for any help

Go to My Documents/ My Games / FalloutNV / And delete everything inside it EXCEPT THE "SAVES" FOLDER!!!. BACKUP BEFORE DELETING

This should fix the problem.

Oh and about your Graphics Card.

Its an onboard GPU aka useless.

You should check the

Minimum requirements:

OS: Windows 7/Vista/XP

CPU: dual core 2.0 GHz

Memory: 2GB RAM

Storage: 10GB free hard drive space

Video card: NVidia GForce 6 series, ATI 1300XT series

And get a better GPU (Graphics Card). I suggest a Ati 3850, or Nvidia 8800 for starters.
