stover197
in the fnvedit training manual it says2. Install Fallout: New Vegas and FNVEdit in the C:\Games\Fallout New Vegas folder, which is not controlled by UAC and will prevent conflicts. (recommended) can i install steam in it's default program filesX86 folder and the game in the folder mentioned above and still get the steam updates and community access from steam automatically or should i install steam and fnv in the same C:\Games folder, or make a backup copy of fnv after steam updating from it's default directory and put it in games so it will match this destination directory mentioned in the fnvedit training manual i do not quite understand how to do this and have installed, uninistalled, and reinstalled the game so many times i don't want any more trial and error or second guessing what i should do to get the best stabilty and performance out of the game when i start adding mods sorry if i am making this question too overly complicated but any advice from someone who has used the install method from fnvedit training manualcould help, much appreciated ty, in advance i am using vista home premium
Iv000
Copying the Steam folder works fine.Well, it does for me.Copy it from Program Files to somwhere that is not Program Files. When I tried that (A looong time ago) it worked, and it's in the same place now, as it was when I moved it.
