Deleted200140User
I'm not sure entirely when it happened, but all of my COBL related misc. inventory items such as the dinner plate, as well as the options menu itself, has departed from my inventory. I had hot-keyed the dinner plate and drinking cup, and they still work when I press the hotkey; they are just not visible in my inventory anymore. Is there some sort of command within COBL to perhaps add another options menu to my inventory? Thanks for the help,Kyle
Hickory
First of all, Cobl menus require OBSE, so make sure you are starting the game from the OBSE launcher. If you already are, try entering the following into the console: startquest cobMenuQ Oh, damn, I forgot: before you do that, make sure you haven't tucked your misc items away inside carry-all bags like Automagic Bags or Bag Of Holding. If you already are, try entering the following into the console: startquest cobMenuQ Oh, damn, I forgot: before you do that, make sure you haven't tucked your misc items away inside carry-all bags like Automagic Bags or Bag Of Holding. As it turns it, this is a kuertee's Inventory is a Backpack problem. Once you mentioned carry-all bags I remembered having installed that mod, though there have been no problems in conjunction with the cobl menus until this point. Uninstalling the mod did not reveal the cobl menu to me. Here is where I stand: If I drop my kuertee inventory backpack to the ground, I can see the cobl options menu, dinner cup, and dinner plate inside. If I try to pick them up individually or the whole bag at once, they do not appear in my players inventory. The same thing happens if I dump all of my inventory into a container. And then, if I take only the cobl items out of the container they disappear, but reappear if I drop the kuertee backpack. So, the cobl items are in fact being swapped between containers, but are only not visible inside my own inventory. Kuertees readme mentions that "Non-playable items are never dropped. So "tokens" are never removed", and cobl documention mentions them in use with menus, so I imagine this is where the mix-up is. With and without my inventory on me, I made backups and tried startquest cobMenuq regardless, thinking it may start the menu, and while there were no errors given, nothing had changed. Hickory
Hmm, I am not familiar with that mod. Have you tried placing your backpack into a non-respawnable container -- as I understand it, this places all of your items in there -- then save the game, quit and disable both Cobl and Kuertee's mod. Reload the game and save again. Quit once more then activate Cobl only. Restart the game and your Cobl tokens should reappear. At that point (your gear is still in the non-respawnable container) you should then consider whether to reactivate the Kuertee mod or change to a different system, like Automagic Bags. At any rate, I would contact Kuertee and pass the information along.
Megatarius
Do whatever needs to be done to clean save your way out of that mod, and get your COBL menus back. Then download Side's Backpacks.
Deleted200140User
I went through the process of uninstalling cobl and kuertees, and then activated just COBL...only to still find no menu. I made a script that checks my inventory for the COBL menu, and sure enough it's in there just not visible. I tried removing the options menu item and adding a new one, to no avail. I'm a little too far along to start over, so I think I will just have to cope with no menu for now...I can't think of any reason I will HAVE to access the menu as long as my drinking cup and dinner plate are accessible through hot keys. Side's Backpacks looks much more polished and has neat features, I'll definitely give it a shot. Thanks for all the help
