ObLars
Hey. Recently a buddy asked me to do some simple stuff on Oblivion, and i felt the urge to do it. I can't seem to edit the landscape around a house i'm making. Why can't i spray the landscape with different textures? Like TerrainMudstone01 for an example. I just dont know how to. X] It seems.. Thanks :)
wetblanket
From your post I get the impression you already know something about it so I won't bother with a long explanation. Landscape Editing - 'H' hotkey To paint textures right-click with the mouse. In some cells this may appear not to work. This is because there is too many textures in that particular quad (9 is apparently the limit): 'i' hotkey - delete or replace (right-click and select replace) unwanted textures. David Brasher
Yes. You can only have about eight ground textures in a quadrant of an exterior cell. So you tap "B" to see the exterior cell boundaries. You tap "T" to orient your map with north on top.Enter landscape editing mode.Ctr+Right Click the ground in the cell in question.Tap "I" to see the textures of the quadrants oriented to match the map.Right click the least used or least desirable texture and select replace. Change it to the same texture as another one already used in the cell.
