^ From the official site. So yes, your card should be enough, but I wouldn't put the game too far past Low settings personally. If you run into problems, there's always Oldblivion.

A mere 128 megs of VRAM is gonna give you problems in Oblivion. Switch is right -- you'd better keep almost all of the video settings on the low end of the scale.

One thing for sure... if you use that particular video card, turn distant grass and trees completely OFF in Oblivion, or your outdoor lag will be tremendous. I wouldn't use any shadows or high-quality water settings, either.

The game will still look great, it just won't be ultra-yummy for you... but in the case of a 6200 card, it's more important to tune things for performance rather than quality.

i upgraded from a radeon 9200 with only 64mb...I had to get oldblivion to fix the white-screen thing, but other than that it didnt lag much. I didnt have the graphics cranked up but it was still pretty goodlookin. :D The only reason i want a supported card is so i can use the tes4 construction set.

Sounds like a good plan. It's all good... Oblivion looks pretty awsome no matter what graphics settings you use. It's a gorgeous game, even on low-end cards.
