werty2121
I've been using OBMM for about a year. The game plays just fine, but I could never get the OBMM to change the load order when needed. I re-read all the OBMM instructions and tried again today. Here's what it does: If you have 40 esp's and you select # 30 and click move up, the results are completely RANDOM. It may go up, it may go down. So if you just keep clicking 'move up', the esp will move around like this: to position 32, then to 22, then 37, then 38, then 12, 15, 4, 32, 20, 40, 7, etc., completely random.AND once I got the esp in question (let's call it A) up to position 4, and left it there and wanted to move ANOTHER esp (let's call this one B) up fairly high, I selected the next one (B), hit 'move up' and B moved up 4 spots but A dropped clear down to position 38. The results are the same if I use the ALT arrows, or drag and click methods. The OBMM version is 1_1_12. Has anyone seen anything like this? Should I delete it and re-install? GingerTom
Try OBMM Extended. I've never had that problem with any version of OBMM. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=32277 NOTE: Just install it over your old version of OBMM--that's what I did and it worked for me. werty2121
O.K. I did that, and it helped with a lot of things, BUT I still have that load order problem, they go all over the place (according to the list on the left half of OBMM). The extended OBMM has a button for the load order. And I notice that the load order listed there is DIFFERENT than what it shows on the left half of my OBMM page. ???? I am starting to think my computer is as bad as my skills!
Balakirev
As an off-hand suggestion, consider Wrye Bash for load order (and much else). It's a great tool, and for some things, quite easy to use. There's even a pictorial tutorial of it, now.

werty2121
Hickory, I am telling you, it doesn't work. I select load order, then click on the mod, it turns blue, then I use move up or move down, and the one I selected moves up or down at random (usually the wrong way, but occasionaly the right way). And it always moves the ones that I wanted to leave alone too. Like TRoN and Underdark.esp. I took a long time to get TRoN to the top, then I started trying to get Underdark to move closer to the top, and the very first try of "move up" (Underdark.esp) did this: It moved Underdark DOWN 3 spots, not up, AND it moved TRoN down 30 spots. :( If no one has heard of this kind of stuff I guess I will delete it all and re- download OBMM Sorry for being so incompetent! werty2121
FYI Thanks for help and suggestions. I decided to try Wrye Bash. I now can make the proper load order :) Now if I can just figure out how to use Wrye Bash to fix the mods that have problems!
