davidlallen
Sorry if this is obvious, but you must have made this change in the geck; did you save as a new esp, and then activate that esp in the "data files" menu choice of the game launcher? Rattlerx5150
This is strange,, I never seen a mod get "erased" if you want to call it that no matter what , I cant assign a value to the chips and have it stick.
PaladinRider
While making my mod that allows the player to run the lucky 38 casino, I made a chip for the lucky 38. I experienced many errors because of it, most notably NPCs would show up first time I test, but upon reopening the esp in the GECk, the NPCs would disappear. The only solution I found on the forums is to use FOMM> tools > Tessnip. Open your ESP and find the (CELL) entry. Cut and paste this so that the CELL entry is at the bottom and resave. It is a hassle but you'll have to do this every time. Don't know if this is your problem but good luck anyway.
Rattlerx5150
I sort of went around the problem by doing something else, Instead of spending the chips directly in the wasteland I made a script (put into a slot machine) that allows you to trade in your chips and get caps at a 10 caps to 1 chip ratio ( the chips are traded for 1 pre-war money which is worth 10caps) it was more work,, but it gets the job done . its in my new Mcfly farm R3

I think all NV casinos go this route. Edited February 27, 2011 by PaladinRider
