introduction:

After Defeting The Iditiots Hq In The Swamplands of The Fourth Ivy Of the Unknown World The Leader of the Speckled Chickens Went on and conquered the rest of Helvarron and there fore destroying the peace in the isles of the Helvons then a new town was secretly formed to overrule

the of the speckled chicken leader.......

but after just settling down into there new town a spy named Gray went on to the leader of the speckled chickens and told him about the town of Moss Flower Woods....so one year later he attack them and left nothing but sorrow in the once happy lands of the isles of Helvons........

A new huge mod is coming! It is called Project Speckled Chicken Land! We need new modders! If you have any skills with making new meshes and/or textures please PM The Fly or me-Some Guy! If you are signing up for mesh making you will have to do 4 new races and new armor with pictures of chickens on! If you are a retexturer we need you to make new shields, weapons etc. We also need quest makers, dungeon makers, interior designers, extereior designers, only 3 voice actors,scripters...almost any1 with skills!

What it's about:

You can choose to be good or evil. If you are evil trouble brews in the isles of the Helvons and the swampland Of The Fourth Ivy Of The Unknown World when the idiots cross the 5 seas to put an end to the speckled chickens once and for all and to overrule Nicholas so they can free the helvarrons from capture you must destroy all idiots and protect Grey. .If you are good:you have just traveled the 5 seas to free the helvons from the speckled chicken leader NICHOLAS you must kill grey with one of Hobo Some Guy's Recent discoveries witch is a special dagger.you must now stop Nicholas from destroying the book of the lost ancesters....cous if he does all doom will fall upon Aurbis!

I think I didn't understood a single thing of what you said. What's it about, in 1 clear and understandable sentece?

its about a dude who takes over a land then another faction of dudes comes to help the other dudes who origgionaly held the isles...it is big mod witch adds towns factions and other stuff

1) Your signiature is way over the size limits. Read the rules and remove it.

 

 

2) Your "plot" is an incoherent mess. Put down the crack and start over from the beginning.

 

 

3) With this mess of a post, I'll be having a snowball fight with Satan before anyone helps you. Read this pinned thread: http://forum.gamingsource.net/index.php?showtopic=26095

 

 

4) Since you have essentially zero chance of attracting the help you need (unless you have a large bank account), you will not be able to do the stuff you're promising. Your ambitions far out-reach your available resources and skills, so your project is doomed to failure. Scale back your ambitions to something you can actually do, or just give up now before you waste anyone's time with it.

 

 

5) You just generally give the impression of yet another person who didn't think beyond "OMG!!! I CAN MAKE A COOL MOD!!!! EVERYONE JOIN ME!!!!!!" before making your forum announcement. I predict you will have abandoned it within a month, just like the countless people who have followed the exact same path.

Right now I am involved in a major mod and trust me, it's a long hard road. While it is "cool" to have a sense of belonging, you have to live up to your promises. That means giving up free time to work for others who are depending on you, if you are lucky, your team leader will be patient and forgiving! (Like ours.)

 

Structure is important as is constant communication, have you even thought about the amount of play testing and quality control involved? The amazing bugs and shortcomings that crop up alone are enough to frustrate you into quitting.

 

Our team has made good progress, but the project is far from over, I'm very happy that you want to mod :) but I think start small for now, some small plugins are usually the most appreciated.

Do not worry, the leader has made a few small mods. But I am going to get around making and releasing my first mod VERY soon. It will be called: House of Darkness! BTW you have a cool signature!

Do you really think a mod with such a storyline while be downloaded as much as any mod of the grandmaster of modding Oscuro? and by the way, i dont want chickens on my armor or sword. so no go for me: a modding criticus, a non-modder (lack the skills and free time) and starting loremaster? but if you ask nicely, i could always write and send you some ideas for quests or so, just dont except any scripting, modeling, texturing, meshing or any other thing from me.
