Need help uploading an image to a mod

Hello everyone!

 

I am attempting to upload an image to a mod I'm creating, but I get this error:

 

Wrong exif_imagetype.Error saving 67962-0-1437776225.jpg

 

I am not sure how to fix this I: I took a screenshot in-game (Skyrim), and it comes out as a .bmp file, so I attempted various ways of converting the file to an acceptable form to upload (.png or .jpg) but no matter what I get this error.

 

If anyone could give me any tips on how to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated!

If you open the file in an imaging program (like Photoshop, Paint.NET, GIMP, etc.) then you can re-save it as a .jpg.

 

Alternatively, you can take screenshots using Steam by pressing F12 in-game. You can find your compressed Steam screenshots in "Steam\userdata\########\760\remote", which are saved in the .jpg format.

i got the same Problem too

but my screenshots are all in jpg. or png. format

i dont know why this still happening to me

I tried to upload your image to a file and it was fine. Is this the exact same image you were trying to upload? Which browser are you using?

its exact the same pic i was trying to upload and everytime it says "Wrong exif_imagetype.No file was uploaded. [3]"

i use google chrome
