For Coin and Cleavage!

So, with Skyrim coming soon, I'm going to play through Oblivion again, and this time with all the DLC/Plug-ins available from Bethesda's online shop (I didn't even know those were there). Anyway, I figured the best class to play with that would allow for doing almost everything in the game in one playthrough would be the Bard. And in that spirit, I'd like to formally request custom content "replicated" (read: shamelessly plagiarized) from InXile's 2004 "The Bard's Tale". I'm looking mostly for armour sets, since the weapons are all generic European stock, save for maybe the Shadow Axe.

Hmm, I can't help with some stuff, but I was once planning on doing something similar. However, things that I know of are primarily for female PCs, since thats what I mostly play in Oblivion.

Weapon - Rapier http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7909

Combined with Princess Stabbity or DMC Stylish Idles (depending on your PC gender) this workds well for a Bard or more refined rogue.

Outfits - Pirate Outfit looks generally right for a Bard; http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28765 , and recently this awesome outfit was released... http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=37173

Lute Mods - because what is a Bard without a lute? hit em wid er lute! http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=33331 , earn munny wid yer lute http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4660 , and actualy play yer lute http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28307

Dancing - because sometimes dancing tells a tale or draws a crowd beter than words, http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=29040

Hope some of these are useful to you.

Hmm, those pirate outfits look too "Elizabethan" for what was in The Bard's Tale (even though there was a baskethilt rapier weapon, even though it was labeled a broadsword), which contained clothing more appropriate for 9th Century Scotland. The Rogue's outfit looks closer to it, though. I don't think he ever used an instrument as a weapon (save for the Shadow Axe and the Ego Sword), but it should be easy to modify those lute weapons with a "Summon X Creature" enchantment, right? You could start with the "Summon Rat" tune, and make a whole mini-quest out of finding new "tunes" to add to your repertoire of music for your summoning lute, either by treasure hunting or even lute-playing "contests". Does Oblivion allow for creating new minigames, like one of those "press a key in time with the beat" games?
