homebase
I have just been questing around Aleswell and Fort Caractacus.I suffered weird stuttering that I hadnt done previously.A sound glitch/stutter followed by maybe a second of video stutter when looking round.Any ideas?I have also just been on the shore of the lake near Imperial City on the Fort Caractacus side and can spin round freely until I face Fort Caractacus in the distance when I suddenly get the stutter again. If I face away I have no problems, but turn round and bam a brief stutter whilst panning round.I cant work this out.Can anyone help please?Thankyou. bben46
A sudden spin can overload the graphics rendering function. It suddenly has to render a lot more stuff very quickly and is overwhelmed.
MarkInMKUK
If you haven't done the Aleswell quest yet, Fort Caractacus has a shedload of invisible creatures which are possibly a "special case" for the rendering engine - those may be contributing. homebase
Its not the gfx being overloaded as I can do it anywhere other than where i mentioned without any problems.Ive done the Invisible quests and it was doing the jerking periodically whilst in that area.It strange that I can be a fair way away yet if I turn towards the Fort (aslong as it is still in sight) I get the stutter.Everywhere else is absolutly fine. Hickory
I cannot see anything that would stick out immediately, but before you go any further either re-order you load order with BOSS, or manually rearrange to the following: Oblivion.esm DLCShiveringIsles.esp ImprovedSigns.esp DLCHorseArmor.espDLCOrrery.espDLCVileLair.espDLCMehrunesRazor.espDLCSpellTomes.espDLCThievesDen.espDLCBattlehornCastle.espDLCFrostcrag.espKnights.esp HGEC_special_armor_repl.esp DFSL Leathery 4.espM&BShields.esp xuldarkforest.espxulStendarrValley.espxulTheHeath.espXulEntiusGorge.espxulFallenleafEverglade.espxulColovianHighlands_EV.espxulChorrolHinterland.espxulBeachesOfCyrodiilLostCoast.espxulBravilBarrowfields.espxulLushWoodlands.espxulAncientYews.espxulAncientRedwoods.espxulCloudtopMountains.espxulArriusCreek.espxulPatch_AY_AC.espxulRollingHills_EV.espxulPantherRiver.espxulRiverEthe.espxulBrenaRiverRavine.espxulImperialIsle.espxulBlackwoodForest.espxulCheydinhalFalls.espxulAspenWood.espxulSkingradOutskirts.espxulSnowdale.esp CuteElf11.esp_Ren_BeautyPack_full.esp KT_CustomRaceFix.esp Installing the Unofficial Oblivion patch and Unofficial DLC patches is highly recommended, as they fix hundreds of bugs in the vanilla game, and you could also get rid of KT_CustomRaceFix.esp as the UOP includes the fix.
