jwells0504
Topic says it all. NVSE just stopped working. Even with all the mods uninstalled and everything is vanilla. Version is correct and i booted up several times with NVSEloader.exe with no success I mean it started FNV but NVSE didn't start with it. I've installed it in the root NV folder with FalloutNVLauncher. So with all of the above steps taken there shoudn't be a problem. So if anyone has any helpfull ideas then that would be great. Need solution to abort sequence.remember to paint target on case first. then consider removing the obvious from all possibilitiesIs this merely another UAC issue{I presume this is a legal version of Vegas}Did you follow the detailed instructions to install NVSE(one more step besides dropping it into the game directory)
jwells0504
Thanks for the reply. It is a legit copy. In-game thingy is enabled. And I've also started it with nvse_loader.exe. I've also given administrator rights to nvse_loader.exe. Edited March 3, 2011 by jwells0504

bben46
If you were running vanilla, then how do you know NVSE isn't working? It doesn't do anything in vanilla it only does anything with mods that were specifically written to take advantage of it's features. Also, Steam did release a patch to FONV the other day, it has caused some problems - Remember NVSE is still listed as a beta (testing) version. If you had a little patience, maybe they would release an updated version that works better with the new patch. Also, reinstalling Windows is unlikely to fix a Fallout problem. A normal reinstall (not reformat and reinstall everything) does not change your already installed programs. However, if you did actually nuke the hard drive and reformat, It may give you a chance to better organize your file structure - Install the Steam client, and any other games, outside of the UAC controlled program files folders.
