Purr4me Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 when Fo3 launches, and you setup the screen settings AKA Graphics...it will produce this file (plugins.txt)inside that will contain the plugins, in this case only fallout3.esm will be listed. there should be no other files shown.If by chance you made a mistake in the coping processes, the root files, where the executable is located needs not be in the data folder but above it with in the new folder you created....it's possible you miss understood....Unlikely.speech to text thing is driving me nut's here.

Purr4me Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 the first one and I see you are handicapped by MS too, um you need to set your system up so you can read file name extensions too on that lappy there. kinda hard to distinguish files...but open the plugin thing and see what's in it?BTW, the web site here ate my last post...donno why Either.

Can you tell me how to do that? unless its on the web somewhere ( I gtg to work in 40 minutes or so) 2.Game is not running from my "paste" folder launcher..It says "It appears that fallout 3 cannot be installed and the installer cannot be found.. 3. Those two notepads show nothing..The second one shows the load order of the .esm files but no .esm files are present? huh..Anyway to save you some headache..I'm done for the day and I have to go to work soon...So hopefully I will let you do some research or take a break for a while while I'm out..Hopefully we will get this fixed soon peace :smile: Edited August 3, 2015 by lv1234

Purr4me Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 what ever took place on your end has to be with that OS or user error some where along the line.here is a fresh installed game, .from start to finish as directed, I even went so far as to use a Brand new OS ,hard drive and every thing...sounds like the guy in point lookout.so, what ever is happening, your going to have to sort it out there, ican image this game as an ISO and load it as an ISO / CD and play the game directly from the iso..so it has to be some other thing. it's not complicated.http://s26.postimg.org/khdr6ikqx/Brand_new_profile_OS_and_game.jpg
