deathbymanga
So, while i was replaying skyrim for the 20th time, I kept overhearing how Ysolda wanted to buy the bannered Mare, and how the owner was planning on selling it to her. Maybe it's the fact that i had put the game away for a few months now, but this never happens. Progress never happens. is there a mod that causes change to actually happen? Or maybe add some new experiences? Like, since I'm a homeowner in Whiterun and have a daughter, why can't my daughter go play around with the other children? Or why can't I go gossip with the other mothers around town? Or other stuff. make me feel like I'm a part of the community.
Mattiewagg
Ysolda takes over if Hulda dies. It's set in the alias settings.
deathbymanga
So, I need to murder Hulda in order for any change to take place in this city?

The alias is already there, you just have to switch the main innkeep alias to Ysolda with ForceRefTo.
deathbymanga
what happens to Hulda if I do this. And going into the code to force change feels cheap, since no actual progress took place, i just re-wrote reality.

No, I mean you would add a piece of code at a point when you want that to actually happen. Say, in the end fragment of Ysolda's dialogue, you start your own little mini "progress" quest, register for an update.... 2 weeks later, and then onUpdate switch it. The one issue is where Hulda would go, but other than that, it's "progress".
TheVampireDante
Create a home in one of the empty spaces in Whiterun, have her relocate there once the ownership "mini-quest" is done.

deathbymanga
Hmm, so I guess I'm going to need to learn how to code in Papyrus myself in order to make this happen
