Trijity
Hey there! Just purchased Oblivion a few days ago, this is my first play-through but I had read that mods just enhance this game so much and am basically following Steam Oblivion Mod Recommendations to a certain extent. I'm skipping around a little and started off getting OBMM, Boss, and trying to work with OOO (Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul). This is my first time using OBMM, and am trying to use the Omod version of OOO and am quite lost... I'm following readme best I can and am sure I'm making a silly mistake, but if someone could elaborate what I am doing wrong it would be awesome. This is as much of the readme I follow before....getting lost "When you have installed Oblivion mod manager and started the application, click the button 'Create' at the bottom of the screen. Then, at the screen that pops up, click the button 'Add Archive'. Browse to the OMOD‐ready archive that you downloaded, and add that. You might get several warnings, e.g. concerning .esp file directories and importing OMOD conversion data." I have OOO installed to desktop, I follow the readme, get to "Add Archive" I select the OOO folder on desktop, but it is stripped whenever I open it this way. Nothing but Empty folders are present and none of the .esm or .esp, or really, hardly anything but the bare folders are there. What do I select to add to archive? Any help is greatly appreciated. This is all really new to me. http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/9914/ooofail.jpg Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Hickory
It looks like you have extracted the archive and now have the OOO_133_Complete folder on your desktop. If that's the case, select 'Add Folder' instead of 'Add Archive'. To add an archive you have to point to a .zip, .7z or .rar file.
Trijity
Yup, I posted this before really reading these forums and found a post with my same problem that helped me resolve it lol. Thanks for replying though! Now I know by what you said that I can just add the folder if I already installed it, that'll be a huge help considering Ive already made folders for a lot of these mods I'm looking forward too.
