HellsMaster
I wish to buy an ATX AM3 Mobo right.. Now i have an ATI HD 6950 i realised how HUGE the thing is... as my brother isnt buying my PC after all i can keep my HDD, Drives, Gfx card. Now my question is would this mobo: http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/44839/Gigabyte-motherboard-MA770T-UD3-AMD-AM3-DDR3-ATX Fit both my ATI HD AND a Nvidia GT 220 for Cuda processing? Does it have enough PCI-E SLot? WOuld you recommand any other mobo that cost around 60 pounds? Could you use MicroDirect if you find any and link me there? Erik005
I don't think you can use an ATI card and a nvidia card for cuda. Maybe a motherboard with an nf200 chip can do that.
HellsMaster
It HAS been done. Nvidias latest driver enables the use of a GeForce card as a secondary Cuda card whereas the main Card is the ATI
Vecna6667
It needs either one more PCI-E X 16 or a PCI-E X 8 and even if you can't use CUDA anymore, more and more programs are starting to include OpenCL.
