Guest nameless762
I'm tired of the vanilla oblivion's armour formula.Nothing can deal damage to me anymore.Haven't found a mod that edits the armour code.I can't find the armour formula's script either.Would anyone happen to know what file/script I shall look in? If you merely want armor to be less effective overall against physical attacks...Wrye Bash has a feature that can be used lower the maximum armor rating you can achieve from 85% protection to any lower percentage value you wish. Hickory
But, what if I want to edit the whole formula?Would you happen to know how that would be possible? The formula is hard coded. It depends on global variables, which is what Wrye Bash manipulates to alter the effectiveness of armour. If nothing can deal damage to you, then I suggest you don't use godly items or enchanted items. Get some bog standard fur armour, or better yet, don't use armour. bben46
Or, move the difficulty slider to more difficult and avoid god items.
David Brasher
I suggest that you start a brand new character and don't acquire any over-powered mod items. Then your game will be hard again and you will get injured in spite of your armor.
