SonnyJim
Hi all ... my first post ... been reading alot of the forums while I play and using a few mods including OOO but I can't find an answer to this question: How do I get 1400 Magicka points? I can't use my "Finger of the Mountain Spell" with only 228 Magicka. I'm about level 22 Thief with 70+ intelligence & willpower. Hate to ask because I like to figure as much out in game as I can to make it more fun but this one is just frustrating me so please help. Cheers. Rhydderch Hael
It's the bad quirk about the spell: the higher in character level you are when you acquire the spell, the more powerful it becomes. That's not exactly a good thing: it becomes very Magicka-inefficient the higher it goes. In short, at the level you are now, you can craft a spell at the Altar of Spellmaking that delivers similar damage at far less cost. In short, don't fret over your inability to cast the spell: it's a jinxed reward. Do what I did: slay Erana in revenge.
nachtefuchs
This mod might help you out, and this one is very handy.
SonnyJim
I actually had the Quest Leveling mod installed but forgot that I didn't activate the additional file included for this spell because I didn't know what it was at the time, lol. I'm really new with RPG's so there's alot to get used to... missed out on D & D when I was a kid and had something called "Trolls & (something else)" instead that I had to play on my own, mind you I had alot of imagination back then so it lasted me a while! Thanks heaps for the comments :)
StClair
That'd (probably) be "Tunnels and Trolls", a D&D knockoff best known for its solo dungeons (like Choose Your Own Adventure books with a character sheet, dice, and combat; even more like the Lone Wolf series), even though it was quite playable with a group.
