[EDITED FOR CLARITY]

Alright...So I think that ever since I put in this motorcycle mod I have the situation where I am now not able to save, or it will kick me out of the game and stop running. So I took the mod out and the game is still giving me the same problem. Every time I try to save, the program stops working. I also can't go inside a building or use any type of auto save feature.

-----What should i do?

-----Please help[

I would uninstall the game, and reinstall it. only should take about 20 minutes.

if you did a total reinstall, and the same thing is happening, I am not sure what to do.

1) I have heard that blowing yourself up and letting it load the game again has some effect. you kill yourself, then make a hard manual save, then load from that.

2) have you tried starting a new game? it may be that your save somehow has a problem related the old mod.

3) it may not be the mod. get rid of every mod (ouch). you may have to have a new install and a new game. if the game THEN works, you can go back to adding some mods.

I am no expert on mods, but no one had answered you, so I thought I would help with the basics. are you launching from FOMM? did you use BOSS?

I had the same set of problems after the patch. The only thing that worked for me was deleting all my saves running FNVEdit Master Update toggling Archiveinvalidationinvalidated in FOMM and disabling all auto saves before beginning a new game. I subsequently discovered that some of my old mods that hadn't acted up before the patch were conflicting in very bizarre ways. I think the new patch and Dead Money changes the game engine enough that a lot of mod authors are going to have to do some tweaking and updates.

I've had some similar issues and this was my remedy (mainly step #15).

Hope this helps!

hmmm. if I only have two cores, that would not really change much? just wondering....mine has been slightly more stable lately.

peace out. have a good day.

I suppose it changes much as Fallout hooks all cores by default.

Cheers

but if I tell the program to use only two cores, and i have ONLY two cores, how is that different? it can't use more than 2 if I only have 2.
