yk0520
I've recently reinstalled Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition and plan to restore the mods I previously used. Since Nexus Mod Manager doesn't seem to work well with .dazip files, I'm trying to decide between DOA Mod Manager (which I've used before) and DAModder. Which one would you recommend, and why? Thandal
I only use DAMM. Have done since 2010. (1) It's required for all ".override" mods; and (2) Anything it can't handle I can do manually with minimal effort. [EDIT Full disclosure: I user NMM occasionally just to be familiar it's capabilities so I can respond to people who have problems using it with the DA-series.] Edited August 3, 2015 by Thandal
badmojo88
'required' maybe a strong word, i use DAMM too from time to time, but mostly I manually install my mods, makes it alot easier to stack many mods in without causing ingame conflicts:)
Thandal
I used the word 'required' very specifically and deliberately. One must, absolutely MUST, use DAMM in order to employ mods such as NBaio that are packaged as ".override" files. There is simply no other way (short of doing your own programming) to get that type of mod working correctly in the game. :armscrossed:
