GaBoownz Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 (edited) So I'm pretty new to Wrye Bash, but I've been modding with OBMM for a while. Well, I've been having tons and tons of issues attempting to make my mod-list work in a bashed patch, and I finally made one that would allow the game to run (originally it would simply CTD as soon as it started). However, I now have a new problem. I can make a new character and have it running just fine up to the sewers, but then when I attempt to leave the sewers for the outside world, it goes "CAN'T LET YOU DO THAT STARFOX" and crashes to the desktop. I'm wondering if there's any help I can get in diagnosing the issue? Loading any character on the outside also results in an insta-crash. EDIT: Just kidding, it only lets me start with the Quick Start mod. When I take that away and try to do a normal new game, it crashes instantly. 0xxDarkQueeNxx0 Posted March 7, 2011 Share Posted March 7, 2011 When you make a bashed patch, it saves all your active mods as masters. If you remove any mod, oblivion may crash. Also make sure you run boss every time you add new mods, and rebuild your patch after running boss. As for the leaving the sewer thing, it doesnt sound like a bashed patch problem. Try making a new game with the quickstart mod and fast travel to the sewer exit. If it still crashes in that area, id start looking at the unique landscapes mod or anything else that alters that area. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You need to install the latest version of BOSS, update the masterlist, run BOSS and then rebuild your patch according to this: When you press 'Rebuild Patch', make sure that you check the following: Merge PatchesImport ... [Go through each 'import' option and if there's a mod, not csv in the right window, check it, and the Import... option.]Cobl Catalogs [ONLY if you use Cobl]Contents CheckerLeveled ListsRace RecordsSEWorld Tests [ONLY if you have Shivering Isles installed] The Globals and Tweaks are optional, but should not be checked unless you know what you are doing, and should be left alone while you are troubleshooting. Running BOSS after updating fixed it right up. So, if I wanted to add more mods after making the Bashed Patch, all I'd have to do is put in the mod, change the load order, and rebuild the patch?
