ShizukanaOkami
Hi I usually don't post on forums so I apologize for lack of etiquette or formatting, but I was wondering if anyone would know how to export Weapon Data such as Weight, Health, Value, etc from Fallout onto some kind of word processor or excel type of program. I'm currently doing some excel work in converting weapon stats from Fallout 3 to NV for a Fallout Pen and Paper on the side and although I could type it in manually there's quite a bit of data to be inputted. Currently I've tried searching for scripts to use in FNVEdit and I've tried the export function in GECK but none of them have been able to provide a way to export the data to an external file. MotoSxorpio
AFAIK, xEdit/FNVEdit was capable of spreadsheet comparisons. As far as exportation, I'm not sure, never even looked cuz...there it was.
ShizukanaOkami
Thanks for replying, I tried copying and pasting from FNVEdit and currently I'm unable to pull all the information without individually going to each weapon and each value thus far. I've heard that export scripts may be more useful in this situation; however I'm unsure on how to go about creating one with the purpose of pulling values for each weapon such as ROF, Damage, etc.
MotoSxorpio
Might be done with .pas script...script for xEdit. Good luck!
ShizukanaOkami
I appear to have found a solution, but it does not export everything completely but whatever I can capture using snipping tool on the GECK Window and run through a image to text converter appears to come out just fine. I think there are better ways to go about this right now in terms of creating a script for FNVEdit, but I guess if anyone like me that doesn't know how to create a script for it, this method would be the way to do it.
