Take Over the Sierra Madre Casino

So, you just went through hell cleaning out a casino full of Ghost People, have access to the most powerful technology in the Wasteland at your fingertips, and killed not one, but two maniacs waiting to stab you in the back. And what do you do? You leave practically empty handed.

I don't know about you, but if I had access to holograms - just one capable of taking down an entire army by itself - a giant, toxic cloud able to be switched on and off, and vending machines that could create matter, I wouldn't just leave it to be forgotten. I'd be grabbing my friends, heading back, kicking the Ghost People out, and claiming that giant fortress for myself.

Wouldn't you?

Naww I'll let Christine Royce have it, apparently its her destiny. But it's a good idea as a player home. Not sure how you'd turn off the gas though

If it were to be made into a player home, someone would just need to make a separate room in the Executive Suites. Something similar was done with the Mothership Zeta Crew Mod for Fallout 3; it'd be nice to see something similar done with the Madre.

Yep could be cool, then have Christina as a constant companion there. Maybe have some ghost suits that are immune to the gas, or a quest to fix it and make it non-toxic. You might check out a mod that allowed you to go back to the Sierra Madre. I can't remember the name. But it was talking about expanding that worldspace with a bunch of junk (sewers etc). Maybe you could partner with him and make the player home if your a good modder. Or is this thread more of a request for some one else to make it?

I hope to add a quest to 'Run The Lucky 38' where the player may retrieve Dead Money items (Holograms, furniture, etc) or the technology and bring it back to the Lucky 38. That's looking to the future however, the focus is on getting 1.5 and 2.0 out

Ha! I was just about to recommend you PaladinRider, Well you beat me to the punch.

Anyways Joe, Try posting a few examples of business mods from Fallout NV and Fallout 3, that way the modders reading this request will have a better idea of the mod in mind.

Hell try showing a few oblivion business mods if you like one or two of them, Oblivion had tons of mods like this.

Yes! Really, I'd love to be able to use what you get from all the DLCs....the excuse of 'not being able to find your way back to the Sierra Madre' holds no water when you are wearing a mapping device on your forearm. And the only limit to what you do after OWB is that you can't tell anyone where Big MT is...not that it would stop you from giving them the location through other means, the records would be scattered around in Elijah's hiding places for one. Though a perk mod i got included one that sometimes drops special items so that I have gotten a second stealthsuit to hand over to a companion. But all the tech of DM and OWB should be yours to bring to the wastes as you desire to.
