MidbossVyers
Yes, it's another bug. It's damn frustrating, and this particular one goes beyond cosmetics, as Mora's Soul Trap does not seem to be working on orcs, so I can't complete his Daedric quest. When I cast the spell on an orc twice, it does not give any messages about "This person is already affected by Soul Trap." I really doubt I missed as I shot at a stationary target. I tried 3 instances, one of the orcs at Malacath's shrine, one of Anvil's Clarabella pirates, and one of the Orums of Cheydinhal. After killing them after casting the spell on them, there was no quest update saying that I captured the soul of an orc. The other souls seems to work (I haven't tried Dark Elf yet as I'm so frustrated by this). Hickory
If that Orc replacer changes the stock Orc race then yes, as far as Mora's quest is concerned, you no longer have Orcs in your game. This is the same issue that requires a patch for Valen Dreth to start commenting (for custom races) at the start of a new game.
