things in TES4 that scare/startle you

That gives me an idea... a mod that makes that guy turn into a lich lord as you sleep and when you wake up, you are in a black vastness and he is torturing people etc etc... lol i dunno something like that...

or even scarier... you tell him to stay where he is, then you go into a dungeon and when you are in the last room you gather the loot, turn around, and at the door he is... perfectly still, staring at you with a blank face.

EDIT: LOL even better when you are out in the wilderness at night, you hear all these ghostly and freaky noises everywhere... you look one way, then the other, then back to the first way... and he is face to face with you, under the above guise ^^^^.

I found the quest where you entered someone's dreams terrific as it strips you bare and puts you against some lethal challenges. Hitting traps for the first time was horrible... and my first trip into oblivion really freaked me out.

The underwater quest where you find out what happened to the last apprentice to fetch the ring of burdening... ew! That would make a lovely cursed object. Cave diving is a scary scary concept.

The one where you have to keep the farmer's sons alive was scary and annoying, because although i could handle the goblins, the farmer's sons kept either throwing themselves on the enemy swords or onto my one. I would rather have had to deal with that by myself, if i can't give the NPCs orders.

First time i saw that enemies could run sideways or backwards at the same speed as frwards was pretty freaky, especially as they don't need to even look. (There was a recent version of dracula with three vamp chicks doing that to great effect)I thought it was deliberately done as the first time i saw it was an enemy vampire.

Later i realised it was just to make a console game more of a clickfest (if anyone knows of a mod that makes them trip if they insist on running backwards in a dungeon in the dark with rubbish all over the floor, please tell me). It's jarring, people clomp along slowly in armor at best, that's why knights used horses to move them about, and firing bows whilst running in a zig zag backwards is just insane. Undead i can buy doing it, since they don't need eyes to see (presumably). Everyone else should be dropping to cover and then staying steady, or falling back behind to snipe. When enemy magicians fire flares at me whilst repeatedly going left to right, right to left, across the screen, i just feel like i am playing space invaders... if there's one fantasy convention, it's that magic requires concentration.

The first time i jumped whilst running down a hill and realised the slope was steeper than it appeared and i couldn't stop falling to my doom got the pulse going! It reminds me of a D&D dungeon where you see a slide, and if you jump on it, razors lining the tube shred you and a pack of enemies await at the bottom to mop up survivors...

I'm not sure if it also affects the npc's, but this mod does that.

This is also a nice mod, but I'm not sure if it's compatible with the first mod I mentioned. Also it requires OBSE. There is a non-OBSE version but that one is very CPU heavy.

I can only remember one moment right now that made me go 'woah!', but that was from Morrowind. I was doing the pilgrimage at Ghostgate, but was very weak. I had to run from the blighted rats. After getting the blessing I ran back and closed the Red Mountain side of the gate. The other side was opened. I watched the Red Mountain side gate close, and when it did, I turned around. Just when I turned around, there was a guar right in front of me, attacking me!

Things that scare me?

Those baby skeletons. You know, the small, yellowing, blood-stained ones you see around the place in Goblin dens? Creep me out something chronic....

So thats where all the kids went.

to ninja_lord666: The Fan respawns where he died. i.e The camp under dive rock, plane of oblivion, cities, farms, Hackdirt (creepy inbred village), infact he seems to get killed no matter where we go together(I stab him ;) )

I know that, I know almost everything about Oblivion, but at the time [about a month after Oblivion came out (I got it the day it was released :D )], I didn't know.

I now know how you feel :(

I have just become master of all the guilds for the 12th time.

I have every greater power given to you by your starsigns (won't say how, as you probably already know  )

I have sold The Imperial Dragon Armor ( ) for the 12th time.

And I have also killed the Fan 1423 times( 453 stabbings, 320 spells, 600 various arrows from various bows and 50 crushings) btw: I came up with number randomly, It's propably much much more.
