Heromachine
I think all the mods are great so far. But I was reminded of Bethesdas other gem, Morrowind. It has real a real time shadow mod. I am surprised that this has not been implemented yet. But if anybody out there knows how, real time shadows would be great. I just hope the modding limit does not prevent such a visual element from being created.

Is it a mod, or is it built into the game? I tried a quick search and it seems that it's a graphics option in Morrowind. If it was a mod, I'd say we could look at it for some clue as to how it was implemented, because frankly I can't think of any practical way to do it via any of the (admittedly limited) modding methods I know. I think he's talking about the ShadeMe mod for Oblivion and MGE for Morrowind (at least I think MGE has real-time shadows, can't remember). Either way, what you're asking for is a big undertaking. It's probably do-able from what we've seen with ShadeMe, but it's still going to require a damn good coder who's willing to work on it.

MGE has the mod...I didn't know Oblivion had it too. But I would like it on here. Oblivion had higher limits when it came to modding compared to Morrowind, but I see so much potential in FONV. Danny159
I don't know but the shadow I have in my New Vegas game seems pretty real time. :\
Heromachine
You are referring to character shadow, but ShadeMe did real time shadow in Oblivion and Morrowind for all objects.
