krimzin Posted March 12, 2011 Share Posted March 12, 2011 I haven't played Oblivion or Morrowind in a long time, but a few days ago I decided to. Once it loaded up, I noticed two extremely irritating differences from the last time I played. Two vertical bars on either side of the screen. That annoyed the hell out of me, so I tried to get my elder scrolls fix with Morrowind, but for some reason it too possessed the diabolical black bars. I'm not aware of anything I did to the games since I last played them, and it is only these two games that the anomaly occurs in. I'm currently trying to make a screenshot, but for some reason my pc is being anal about it, will get one by my next post. Anyone had this happen to them? Any advice on how to remove them? krimzin Posted March 13, 2011 Author Share Posted March 13, 2011 This isn't an actual screenshot, I made it in gimp cuz I can't take screenshots right now for some reason, but it's an accurate representation of what's happening.I haven't done any of those, in fact I tried changing the resolution etc after it started doing this, but it didn't remove the bars. Delete your \Documents\My Games\Oblivion\oblivion.ini and restart the game from OblivionLauncher.exe to re-initialize your hardware and settings.
