Pelinor
Hi folks! I've also posted this topic at the Bethesda Forums, but I thought I'd post here as well since many of you may not go there. As you may perceive from the topic title, and a certain screenshot, I've been working on a mod to add Tetris to Fallout: New Vegas. It plays very well and I'm ready to work on the visuals and interaction part...which is why I'm here. What I've planned so far is to give the player the ability to play the game anytime after sleeping. You'll be prompted with a message describing a strange dream of falling blocks. As you play, you'll gain access to more features. The preview tile in the screenshot is one of those rewarded features, although it will likely be in a different location; colored blocks will be another feature. The new features will be rewarded for play time, point accumulation, high score, and/or levels achieved. (I'll probably make a version to let you have all features available from the start, too.) What would you folks like to see in the mod? I'm open to suggestions. Edited March 14, 2011 by Pelinor
ub3rman123
Playing it after sleeping seems a bit surreal for Fallout. How about making machines in the casinos, or a special building on the Strip for it?

The machines could be from a company called Itara, a Japanese company from before the war. The building could be the place Gamblers on the strip drop their kids off while they loose a fortune. You could have a mission for the place, like retrieving more games from around the wasteland. You could make more games like:METEORS! (ASTEROIDS )Munch 'em Man (Pac-Man )Ping (Pong )ALIEN INVASION (Space Invaders)Gorilla Man (Donkey Kong) and other such classic Atari games. Also, you could have a companion there. He could be a parody of The Angry Video Game Nerd, armed with three unique weapons: The Power-Glove (Unique Displacer Glove) The Zapper (unique Recharger Pistol) and the Super Scope (Unique Gauss rifle) Edited March 14, 2011 by AveTruetoCaesar

Pelinor
Indeed, it's a great idea. I won't be the one to do it if it's done, however. It will be played in your mind as a day-dream. I have no desire to build any places, make game machines, and or any other games.

And I like my idea, mainly because it makes more sense and adds more to the story then random Tetris dreams.
