gothxtreme
Hey everyone after a long hiatus I popped in the old Elder Scrolls IV disk and installed what is considered essential mods. When I run OBSE though the gaming text will not display in the main screen of the game. How do I fix this? Thanks for your assistance.
forli
First of all: if you have the Steam version of Oblivion, read the documentation of OBSE on how to use it. If don't have the Steam version, or if you have it but you have followed the OBSE documentation, it could be an UI problem.Go to ".../Oblivion/Data" folder and look for "Menus" folder. If you don't have it, you can stop read. If you have "Menus" inside ".../Oblivion/Data":Try rename "Menus" to something else, so the game won't read it anymore. If the text appear again, completely delete this folder, and reinstall the UI mod(s) one by one. Striker879
Are you launching the game using the obse_loader.exe?
gothxtreme
I don't have the steam version and I was loading the OBSE through wyrebash then tried it on its own and had the same result.
