mondotomhead
If I go to Redcliff and save the village is that the quest or do I have to finish all the Arl Eamon stuff to finish that particular quest? I know there is a mod called Zev Asap but I didn't load it right and I am beyond the point where I could fix it :wallbash:
ElliotKane
Completing the mage tower is what triggers Zevran, so if you do that straight after Lothering you will get him the fastest :)

JMarso
Kane's post about the Mage Tower is incorrect. The Zevran subplot will start after you finish the first of ANY of the major questlines. If you do the mage tower first, Zev's plot will spawn after that. If you do the Brecilian Forest or Orzamar first, it will spawn after either of those. You merely have to complete one of the army-building quests to get it going. So, if you want to get Zev quick, you should probably go straight to the mage tower and knock it out because it is a) the easiest of those quests, and; b) the quickest to complete. It's possible to stroll into Redcliffe with Zev in your party.
Thandal
And it's even faster if you use the mod "Skip the Fade"! :whistling: (I don't recommend using it for your first playthrough. I don't recommend playing without it any time after that!)
Lawlder
Zevran appears when you solve Connor problem. You don't need to find the ashes, that's a whole another marathon quest.
