(Texture Modder Needed) I Can Make The Mod Myself Just Need A Boost

I'm new to making mods but I can follow instructions.

All I want to do is replace the biggest moon texture (Masser) with a different one, I have to DDS image ready I just don't know where to start as I can't even find the original moons texture anywhere in the files and I'm sure it's an easy thing to do. I don't want someone else to make it as I want it to be my mod (not selfish or anything I just want to actually make a mod myself xD)

Any help like a brief tut below in bullet points would be greatly appreciated I'm sure any reasonably experienced texture modder could easily explain this to me.

Thanks!

You will need to unpack the textures from the texture BSA in order to access them. First, download this:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4804/?

Then run it, hit "open" in the lower left corner, and find the "Skyrim - Textures" BSA in the data folder. You can extract the whole thing if you have room for it, or you can go through and find the texture for the moon. I don't know what exactly it is called or where it is, but if you search online you may be able to see what it is called. That would save you a lot of time trying to find it. If you extract everything, you can just open up the folder in Windows Explorer and search "Masser" or "moon" or other related terms until you find it.
