Denizen
I have my grass turned to 2%. That stuff eats my fps like you wouldn't believe... (With grass: 78 fps; without grass: 124 fps) Since it is virtually a new engine, hopefully fixing their mistakes (the leaky roofs are at least fixed...), I think it will run better. Although I'll probably still need to buy a new graphics card for it... Don't worry you have nothing to worry about, I'm playing Oblivion and Fallout NV on a laptop at ~30 fps without grass, ~20 with grass. You will be able to run Skyrim with no problem, especially if they have optimized the engine. Maybe they will have fixed the stutter :)
ub3rman123
Usually just reducing the resolution fixes lag a lot without most visible loss. Only game I've had a problem with it was on AC2 where there wasn't a widescreen low resolution, so I could either play at 5 FPS or everyone looked like they've been hitting the doughnuts. As for grass, the low poly grass mod works wonders.
Deleted1848331User
The odd thing is, I can play Oblivion on high, yet Fallout 3 doesn't even get past the first loading screen to start a new game... I'm hoping they at least fixed what they did to the engine in Oblivion. I wonder if they'll even get ladders in :P
