Brightness problems

after a busy weekend without touching oblivion

I installed some mods on sunday night, such beautiful people and Wrye Bash

but then when I played the game today, I found that the screen become much brighter than before

 

 

 

 

above pic were at 8 pm already, but the light on the screen still similar to dawn

 

And on the video option, I couldn't change the brightness all(it was like that in the past actually)

 

 

Please help me :(

Are you running the game in a window? The brightness bar should only be faded out when you are, you need to be playing the game full screen to alter brightness settings. If you are playing full screen, then... something's managed to get screwed up somewhere that's telling you you're windowed, methinks. I wouldn't be sure how to fix that besides reinstalling maybe, or possibly just trying to switch resolution.

I think the only thing you can do is adjusting the brightness of the monitor itself.

Or change it through the graphics-card control panel, if there is one.
