MetaDowN
Ok here is one...how do you install Oblivion a second time on the same hard drive? I would like to have 2 games installed, 1 for playing and 1 for testing. Any help would be great! :)
Switch
I've split this off from the thread you posted in, this isn't the sort of question you're meant to ask there. Kind of off topic. ;)
MetaDowN
oops sorry, but if anyone knows how please do tell. :)
Guest Some Guy
Its very easy, really! All you do is:1:Put the Oblivion Disk in the drive2:Right click on the disk in the drive and say 'open'3:Go to where it says 'setup' and double clickthis should open up the Installshield wizard, then just install! Switch
He's asking how to install Oblivion twice on one hard drive, not just how to install Oblivion. ^^; Please pay attention to the content of a thread before posting, thanks.

Dezedor
Well that happens in my world too. Im not sure you actually can do it.
Abramul
You can do it, but you would either need to set up something that swaps the registry entries, or just have a second copy of your OS installed on a partition. (Actually, it may work to copy the \Oblivion folder to another location. However, it may be hardwired to use a specific location for the .ini and savegames.) Now that I think of it, try creating another user, and using that for testing. As the .ini, plugin list, and savegames are located in the user's directory, this should allow you to have a different setup.
