nightmare_pwner
Could not really find it anywhere so might as well see if someone here could provide insight. Anyways. Decided to install OAVO since I was lazy and wanted everything in an easy package. However what my problem is, is that I want to use and remove certain aspects the mod installs because I dont like them. For example. The sky and nighttime sky textures. Day time is alright but nighttime is just horrible. Can these textures be replaced from a different mod? Also I wanted to use OBGE and use various shaders. Is this possible? I read somewhere it OAVO's FAQ/readme that screeneffects will conflict with various things. Not sure if that ment shaders and OBGE as well. If so. I could just disable it, but id rather get pro help here first before I go tampering with things further.

AurianaValoria1
I'm using OAVO 2 and OBGE, and I have no trouble at all. I don't think using OBGE shaders other than those that come with the OAVO package will conflict, although I personally don't use extra shaders. The Screen Effects shaders are in a subfolder, so you shouldn't be able to overwrite them. I'm sure that you can replace individual textures just fine. I know what you mean about the night sky...that nebula can be pretty obnoxious at times. So, if you want to replace the nebula, overwrite the original texture with a new one. If an .esp is required, just make sure it loads after the OAVO .esp's. Hope this helps.
Telyn
The downside of overhauls is that they are someone else's idea of the ideal game setup. This is a reason I don't use any of them. Like you, I am picky and often don't like some of the components. Your best choices are, just live that, if ease is the biggest concern of yours, or the choice I made. Make your own overhaul from individual mods. This option is more difficult because you have to patch the mods yourself. You have to make sure they work together. You have huge numbers of choices. It can be baffling. Here is a possible compromise. While answering someone else, I went through the readme and made a list of all the pieces of OAVO you can download here. These are the original mods which the person compiled. Most of the material in OAVO can be downloaded here a la carte. You can decide which ones you want and don't want, and then just search using the file search. I recommend you don't overly narrow the searches, so you can see the available corrective patches and compatability patches. Only you can know which ones you need. From my post to the other person: These parts are all here:QTP3 Redimised Reduced and a lot of other variations of smaller QTP files. Pick which you think would be best for your machine. Non optimized version of Qarl's Texture Pack 3 is available here also if your computer high end.Bomret's Textures for Shivering Isles (if you have SI)All Natural Weather (which comes with the lighting mod Real Lights mentioned in the file read me)Enhanced Water v20 HDMI (has both regular and SI in one pack)Natural Environments, only these two pieces are used so only use those two because the others would conflict with All Natural: Natural Habitat Natural Vegetation(How to install only these two parts. You should use an OMOD, and the OMOD will ask you which parts you want to install. This script will help you make the OMODhttp://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=10257)Symphony of ViolenceAnimated Window Lighting System (AWLS)Audia Arcanum, several soundfiles. I think if you search on Audia Arcanum you can figure out which of the collections these are or which you want.Michikawa Extra MP3 Music Pack Complete. I don't know if the exact same music files are in that pack, but it is the same artist so I think it is likely. I apologize that I did not link all files for you, but some of them have extras available which you can examine when you do your own search, such as addons and patches. The OVOA 2.0 already patched them all. You will need to patch them yourself I have been considering trying to make a more realistic sky mod, which would include smaller moons. No ETA on that because I am still in the tutorial stages of modding here, but would be interested to know if anyone else feels the moons are a little overwhelming and book-cover looking. Thanks for everyone input. Ive manged to configure the small various things my only big problem now is the low end performance. Im running a 6970 and I barely manage 20 FPS in the exterior worldspace. I believe this is due to AEVWD. Im not sure how to tone it done though. Cant find an INI for it but I think its in the oblivion.ini anyways well, some settings. Anyone got any suggestions for that one?
Telyn
I highly recommend Tweak Guides Oblivion to maximize your performance with the least loss of quality. It won't specifically help you with AEVWD but if you haven't seen Tweak Guides Oblivion, you may not need anything else.http://www.tweakguid...Oblivion_1.html
Faivon
I will not consider installing OAVO if my QTP3 doesn't crash on me lots of times. I can't say for sure if QTP3 caused that but based on my friends' testimony, QTP3 tends to crash when entering certain area, kinda random actually. For now, let's say QTP3 caused problem for me (no, not the FPS drop but the random crash due to mod incompatibility maybe) so I'm going to install OAVO. My question is, very simple really and kinda noob : OAVO includes QTP3, All Natural and its own water texture mod right? So kinda obvious I have to uninstall QTP3 and All Natural; Then what about my Realistic Water mod? Do I need to uninstall it too? I have RAEVWD too but it looks like it's compatible with OAVO, yes?
