MadTod Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I've recently upgraded to Windows 10 (from Windows 7) and have reinstalled all of my games, when I went to play Fallout New Vegas (steam version) I could no longer open the console command window; This also happens with Oblivion (Steam version) and Morrowind (Non-Steam version), however I can open and use the console command window for Skyrim (Steam version) so I've ruled it out as a Steam issue and I don't know what else to do. The console command windows for the aforementioned games work on Windows 7, they've only since ceased after upgrading to Windows 10. Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.
SirTwist Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Check your key bindings for the games. When you switched, something could have changed, and may not be where you put it.
IanM80 Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 I'm having the same problem, but you cannot change the keybinding for console commands, so checking is pointless (Although I did check). Any other ideas?
dragonbrain Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 how do you check the key binding for command console?
Ladez Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 As far as I can tell the console key is hardcoded. My console rebind mod uses a workaround. You may have luck using that.
Sonreac Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 I remember that at one point in time you couldn't use the console command in New Vegas if you were using a controller. I don't know if this has changed since the last time I played the game with any new mods or work-arounds.
dubiousintent Posted June 24, 2016 Posted June 24, 2016 Re "Issue: Keyboard and/or mouse don't work with a game controller installed."Nothing has really changed, but there is at least one work-around if you have a "XInput" compatible controller. See this entry. -Dubious-
