Kajio3033
that means there should be no blur effect...the update .esm has that turned on or a patch has it turned on. the fire effect "mesh" can be renamed /copied out, renamed slightly, copied back in to the game, and loaded back up in ck and used to replace things. you must edit the renamed item first so it registers in game as a re-placer, when this is done, load it once again into the CK and change it's properties to Ignore it's effects...Init disabled...Ignored by sandbox......(SANDBOX IS THE PLAYER CHARACTER). and a last resort Don't havok settle. replace all in game items that use it with the renamed item "after you edit it". many many will get replaced...this will override and allow you to use this saved game....OR you simply start a new game with zero mods installed.Well there isn't a blur effect, it's a distortion. I was unaware you could disable the update.esm? The effect has been in place since launch, if that matters. Is there not a way to simply replace all instances of an object/mesh? I did find a video that you can see the distortion easily in: Right at the beginning you can see how the fire off his hand is causing a wavy distortion. Purr4me
let me explain....see the shots that show winter in this?http://s26.postimg.org/6pwf1tpjd/sky_tests_4.jpg I do not own nor have I downloaded any mods that turn on winter...that;s data salvaged from a saved game some one sent to me to fix....the code is for ever trapped in that saved game file and can not be removed until I reset a cell that has no data in it from this saved games archived information's packets. once a cell purge is conducted and reset, then the winter data gets removed..not by me, the game engine does this. I have only the patches, the DLC's and the main game here...I do not mod Skyrim...I do how ever fix it. try a fresh game...save and then fast travel to any place with flames....a fast travel will reset cells. I'm not looking for a fix for a save game or a fix for anything, really. All I want is a specific effect that's in the game to be disabled or removed somehow. It's a subtle effect and it's incredibly stupid that it's so intensive and can't be disabled...

Purr4me
it might be part of an external data "mesh" and not be in any code written out "too see"EDIT: if you have a CK I can show you there what i have found...that may be what your after ?http://s26.postimg.org/8phm6z98p/effects_of_flames.jpgbut you have to see it run there in the CK in order to get on the same page so I can deal with it. Purr4me
AlchArmorFireFXS run it open skyrim only checked, allow default.esp to store any code you might makethe above is a result from typing into the Object window "FIRE" find that word on the right tab..double click it, here, you will see some things that resemble objects you see in the game. It may not be the exact object wanted but you did want all of it gone...so every thing that remotely resembles what you want, we alter in code. settings get stored in the esp when you save things. Kajio3033
AlchArmorFireFXSThat doesn't seem right. It's not related to "armor" in any way, and from what I can discern from looking at it, it just seems to be a particle effect.
