toxicToxophilite
bad joke, yes. Well, rather than explain in words what my problem is, i think this screenshot should suffice: http://i.imgur.com/pxjEZyd.png I'm around Karthwasten (Or however it's spelled lol) in the middle of the day. This seems to be a couple stacks of night eye and there's also detect life. Now, I know what caused it. I just don't know how to fix it. I have a lovely mod called Dwemer Goggles and Scouter, and what it does is add visuals to help you see better. Well, this is quite useful and i was using the detect life for a good amount of time before I realized I couldn't turn it off. And by a good amount of time, i mean i was doing the main quest to kill Alduin and had many quicksaves stacked up. In an attempt to see if changing the setting would fix it, I selected night eye. It's not an option I normally need since I play khajiit, but there it is. Well, the effect stacked. Irritated, I tried again, and it stacked again and made everything brighter. I swapped out the goggles for the scouter and used the dwemer sight in hopes that the different item would change it... it just stacked even further still. There's no option to reset the sight effects in the MCM and I don't really want to get rid of the mod because I find it really useful and it's cool to boot. There aren't many custom head things like goggles and glasses that the beasts can wear, and I enjoy glasses on my characters.
Rhaskos
Try "dispelallspells" in the console
MotoSxorpio
If you have an ENB, might search around for "#applygamecorrection" on the web for instances...sometimes I take a screenshot and SweetFX f...I mean, borks the screenshot with its overlay process. MotoSxorpio
Also...to my knowledge, driver based SSAO works faster and better than ENB. Don't quote me on that.
toxicToxophilite
I removed sweet fx and i currently have the ENB. Sometimes it has this wicked glow on really light and white things, and it's quite terrible but I don't know how to lower it.
toxicToxophilite
Also, dispelallspells did not work.
MotoSxorpio
"dispelallspells" in console wouldn't have a thing to do with ENB...it doesn't inject into the game engine, it injects into the DX9 engine sorta. But has nothing to do with the actual game.
toxicToxophilite
Well like I said, it has something to do with the goggles. It's a stacked night eye effect. Rather than deactivating, they just kept activating over one another until it became blinding. I had the khajiit night eye on at the same time which made it that white, but i got it off. It's still quite light but it's playable (albiet headache inducing). The enb has an annoying glow reflecting off of white things like snow but it's nothing like the screenshot. toxicToxophilite
Well I disabled the dwemer goggles to test... it didn't help the night-eye effect. I'm stumped.
